We all know that the environment is crucial for our healthy living. We know about climate change and issues with ecology. But the exact knowledge is often missing, especially for some countries. That's why it's important to have the tools that show clearly environmental challenges for the general audience. So when we were asked to develop the web portal for Belarus with such a goal in mind, we eagerly accepted it, despite its possible challenges.

And there were a lot challenges indeed. The website itself consists of a several sections. First, it's the map section with the maps showing different natural protected areas and animal habitats. Second, it's the database section with multiple databases of the mentioned habitats and protected areas with filters and the ability to export filtered results. Third, it's the news section with environmentally themed news from Belarus and Europe updated regularly. Fourth, it's the document section with the documentation relevant to the map and database section, as well as to the discussions happening around the environment in Belarus.
